Money given to Australia's federal parties, candidates and campaigners, exactly as they and their donors disclosed it to the Australian Electoral Commission. Every party, independent, union, business and campaign group is shown the same way.

These are the AEC's figures. Every number comes from returns lodged with the Australian Electoral Commission and published on its Transparency Register. We add them up and group them; we don't change them.
Donations are legal. Giving to a party, candidate or campaigner is lawful in Australia, and disclosing it is how the law intends the public to see it.
Only money above the disclosure threshold is named.
Money below the threshold is unseen. Gifts at or under the threshold don't have to be itemised, so the donor's name never appears. Gifts can also be split across branches or entities so each stays under it.
Reporting lags.
The rules are changing.
